My studio mate - artist Bradley Wood - encouraged me to ‘go big’ and painting something this size as the exhibition drew near. We had the most fun, silliest time taking the bus into the the city centre to the local art shop, we were like giddy kids in a candy store. We both got the same sized canvases and were determined to work towards including them in our show. I kept thinking this painting was finished and Bradley kept encouraging me to take it further. It was quite annoying, but I’m also extremely grateful for push. Definitely a favourite and a proud achievement.
