When I went to visit Miró’s studios, I did take a few souvenirs from his garden. This painting was one of the longest to finish and went through many incarnations along the way. The background colours were never quite right until they were juuuust right and here we are. For this there are many layers of colour and paint on this one - I love it! This painting ended up being a favourite and to my surprise ended up as my anchor piece on the big back wall. Also, sits nicely next to ‘Welcome to BonSol’.
